At 11 years old, Alvaro Menghi, founder of the company of the same name, began working in a workshop in his hometown, with the task of inflating truck tires with a hand pump (!) since there was no electricity. This is where, as they say, “learn the trade”.
At 20, Alvaro started his own business in a rented warehouse. In short, he hires some workers. In 1977 it had its own small workshop, which was expanded in 1980 to its current size in the following years.
Behind the success of the company, in addition to Alvaro, there is an entire family, devoted to the world of tractors, who have always supported him: from his wife Giovanna to his son Sandro who began to be passionate about the work and frequented the workshop since age of 7, to his daughter Michela, currently the owner of a beautiful “Landini hothead”.
