Husqvarna is a brand used by various factories, founded in 1689 to produce muskets for the Swedish army. The old Husqvarna logo consists of a schematic representation of the cross-section of a rifle barrel topped with a sight. The current logo retains this design with the addition of an H drawn in the center of the logo itself. The name derives from the city where this factory was founded, Huskvarna (which was formerly called Husqvarna). There is a small company museum in the city, near the oldest parts of the factory. Husqvarna has produced sewing machines, household appliances, and still produces bicycles and motorcycles today, but primarily focuses on gardening and forestry equipment such as ride-on mowers and chainsaws.
