Flexibility: best describes the HM with two inter-rows. The two inter-rows guarantee a very wide cutting variability to adapt to even very different spacings. The lawn is managed in a single pass in an optimal manner, both on the row and between plants, where this is required. They are also the ideal machines for organic farms, where grass control on the row must necessarily be done with mechanical means.
The return unit is positioned in the center of the machine (with the exception of the HM252L), as these machines are used centrally with respect to the row to cut the grass in a single pass.
To have optimal grass expulsion in every situation, the double inter-row HMs are equipped with a return unit produced by Hermes, with particular characteristics: it is equipped with a double output, which allows the blades of the machine to rotate in two opposite directions. Three blades rotate clockwise (four in the case of the HM302), while the other two blades (3 in the case of the HM302) rotate counterclockwise. Since these are machines that cut up to 3.75 m, it is clear that this construction feature is crucial: the cut grass is expelled uniformly and well distributed on both sides of the machine.
As in the other machines of this series, also in the HM with two inter-rows the motion is transmitted via belts and pulleys. However, in the construction of these machines, the practicality of the interventions was also taken into account; in fact, the replacement of the belts is simple and within everyone's reach. No interventions by personnel with particular qualifications are necessary as by simply acting on the adjustment screws the replacement of any worn belts is quick and easy.
