It comes with Dyna-VT transmission and Massey Ferguson’s ‘Exclusive’ specification as standard. Maximum power of 305hp is delivered at 1,850rpm, without the need for Engine Power Management (EPM). Thanks to a special torque curve, the maximum 1,280N m is achieved at just 1,000-1,500rpm. This allows the tractors to maintain torque even in the most demanding conditions. The ‘Exclusive’ specification offers a range of productivity and comfort-enhancing features, including Datatronic 5 and MF vDisplay terminals, active cab suspension, automatic air-suspension seat with dual-motion dynamic damping, multi-function armrest with Multipad controls, four electric spool valves and 16 LED work lights. Massey Ferguson’s Dyna-VT continuously variable transmission is fitted as standard on the MF 8S.305. Operators can rely on a new, efficient automatic mode that allows them to use the Multipad lever or pedal to vary the forward speed, automatically setting the engine speed according to load and speed. As well as providing smoother operation, it also reduces fuel consumption. Proven to be reliable, the 7.4-litre AGCO Power engine delivers more power and torque, higher performance and lower fuel consumption.
