The tractor accelerator speed ranges from 1200 to 1400 rpm, being more than enough for both the torque and the chain rotation speed to shred everything.
This allows a power absorption of 50% compared to all other types of shredders and also a reduced consumption of over 50% compared to other shredders. Thus the CO2 (carbon dioxide) emissions and consequently the fuel consumption are just 30% compared to other shredding systems as a result of the addition of the lower absorbed power and the lower usage speed.
The chain shredder mod. LS175 is not subject to the flooding phenomenon present in all other types of shredders when proceeding with an excessive forward speed. The reason is very simple: the distance between the shredding parts is very large, which allows a lot of "discharge", that is, the escape of the shredded material.
The working width almost equal to the overall dimensions, having the transmission in the center of the machine and not laterally, allows you to get very close to obstacles and also not to receive any damage from involuntary lateral impacts of the tool with stones or other things.
The attachment to the tractor is equipped with slotted attachments to allow the machine to follow the lateral differences in level of the ground and not the wheels of the tractor.
The same stone present is largely broken by the action of the chains.
Another highly appreciated feature is the possibility of being able to work both forward and reverse without any problem.
