The 120 series is divided into two families of machines that are mainly distinguished by the safety system on the feeder: SR 7012 and SR 8012 are equipped with the innovative “NON-STOP” system with torque limiter that, calibrated to perfection, allows the feeding phase to be temporarily interrupted automatically in the event of overloads.

Once the overload condition has ended, without any intervention by the operator being necessary, the torque limiter transmits the motion to the feeder again.
This series of balers also uses a pre-chamber system that allows for well-formed bales with uniform density even in the event of small windrows.

The 220 cm wide pick-up is equipped with a free wheel and two torque limiters on the augers to avoid breakages due to overloads and can be equipped with the “short hay plate with accelerator roller”, to facilitate the collection of short products.

After the collector is the feeding system:
• the rotary feeder with two comb reels conveys the product from the collector to the pre-chamber.
• The feeding fork, synchronized with the rotary feeder and the compression piston, feeds the pre-chamber in a continuous cycle.
• Mechanical sensors, when the pre-chamber is filled, trigger a kinematic mechanism so that the feeding fork completes the feeding cycle of the chamber.

To protect the machine from overloads, in addition to the torque limiters there are two safety bolts: one on the flywheel and one on the knotters. In the event of the latter breaking, a safety device also protects the needles by stopping the stroke of the piston.

6 Rasspe knotters and three cleaning fans equip the machines.

The “AUTOSTART” control unit allows you to program, via the control unit in the cabin, the pause time of the fans.

The machines are equipped as standard with the Easy Tronic electronic control unit which, installed in the cabin, allows the regulation of the bale density and allows you to view the binding, any breakage of the strings, the unloading of the bales (both with chute and with stacker) and the partial and total bale counter.

The R models are equipped with the digital control unit with color display which, in addition to the functions present on the Easy Tronic, allows the manual or automatic regulation of the bale density, the regulation of the autostart control unit and as an option the display of the percentage of humidity of the product and the power supply of the automatic greasing system with fixed points.

There are also numerous accessories to choose from such as the humidity sensor located in the baling chamber; the automatic greasing of all points that require lubrication; the lubrication of the chains; the last bale ejector and for the 6012 and 7012 versions the mounted bale stacker (which allows the grouping of two bales to halve the harvesting time in the field).

All models are equipped with an independent hydraulic system as standard. Only one simple action is needed to lift and lower the collector.

The upward opening of the front and side hoods facilitates maintenance operations and the supply of twine reels.
