Description

The stone separator is used for the dry cleaning of hazelnuts, macadamia, or rounded dried fruit from impurities such as twigs, empty fruits, earth, leaves, various. The product can be loaded via conveyor belt and/or bucket elevator, the separator fan carries out the initial cleaning of the product, removing the lightest impurities. Inside there are two or more discs which, by rotating, allow the fruit to roll outwards and fall to the bottom of the chamber; the stones tend to stop on the flat part of the disc and then be removed by a disc scraper bracket. Plants with up to 10 discs are made and it is possible to apply, on request, a rotary screen which performs a pre-cleaning of the product (see separator fan).
